Does Notes 9.0 Basic and/or the Browser Plugin supports federated login?

I have setup Federated Login successfully and it works with the Standard Client and Domino web server/browser (Firefox and IE) applications.

If I start Notes Basic or the Notes Browser Plugin on the same machine with the same account, the password dialog appears and I must type in  the password.
